Big Arnie Wants to Return
Feb. 21st, 2011 10:21 amThere's talk that Schwarzenegger wants to return to acting. There's even talk of having him in a Terminator film.
Let's face it, even if he can pull it off, he shouldn't play another T-800. That's all said and done. Instead, he should play a current-day human being hunted by a time-traveling human.
My idea is that Arnie plays the human from whom cells will later be taken and used to clone the T-800 skins. For some reason, only certain humans have the right genetic makeup to make those skins.
You could have a hero from the future hunting Arnie, though not necessarily to kill him. As long as he prevents the acquisition of those skin cells, that's one less Terminator model. However, there could be a lot of tension before that's made clear.
Conversely, a Terminator from the future is trying to protect Arnie, to allow the acquisition of those cells in the near future.
This lets others take up the action hero roles, while still giving Arnie have an important part.
Just in case they are thinking about something like this and might hear about this post and be worried I'd sue for stealing their idea, don't worry. I know ideas aren't Copyrightable; only the actual work.
Though I definitely wouldn't mind a consulting fee. ;-)
