It's a Conspiracy...

Someone called and woke me from a sound sleep over half an hour before the alarm was set for. Then hung up just as I staggered to the phone.

Tried for twenty minutes to get back to sleep, then gave up.

At least it's nice and cool, this morning. I can air the house out.

Gun Question

Military small arms experts have repeatedly recommended a 7mm diameter bullet for battle rifles. For example, the M1 Garand was originally chambered for the .276 Pedersen (7 x 51 mm), the en-bloc clip holding ten of those. (When rechambered for the slightly larger .30-'06 cartridge the clip only held eight.)

Is there currently any work being done on a 7mm battle rifle cartridge?
