...With too little sleep. This time I had to get up a little after 3:00 AM to turn over a neighbor's trashcan.

Bailout!

Have you noticed that the closer Congress gets to a "relief" plan the worse the market, but once it's defeated the market rebounds? Of course, we've only had one complete cycle, so far, so that could be coincidence.

Most real economists say the bailout plans so far proposed have been at best misdirected, and at worst harmful except for a privileged few. You don't suppose the market is listening to the economists over the politicians, do you?
