Life's Little Moments
Feb. 2nd, 2008 12:58 pmWhile at Kroger's this morning I saw a woman with two kids. The youngest, probably not even two, was sitting in the buggy. The older, a girl about 6, was swinging on the handle while the woman examined something on a shelf. The woman noticed what the girl was doing and made her stop, then turned back to the shelf. The girl immediately grabbed the handle again. As she started to swing, the baby bent over and bit her on the back of the hand.
Now, this kid didn't bite hard, possibly due to having few or no teeth, but it made the girl let go.
I started laughing, and when the woman looked up to see what was going on I told her what had happened. She started laughing. The girl pouted. The baby just sat there with this tight, smug grin on his face like a young Clint Eastwood. :-)
