Mar. 8th, 2007
Though I am primarily iMac at home, now, I still have two Windows machines I maintain and I also recently bought a dual-boot utility for the iMac. So, I also purchased the 2007 version of Norton System Works.
It crashed on both Windows machines. It may be repairing itself on the tower, but on the laptop it starts to boot and then the screen turns off. I tried to get GoBack to intervene, but it says it doesn't have a complete save. Will try booting to the Norton CD this evening. If that doesn't work, I'll try booting in safe mode.
Anyone have other suggestions? (Yeah, yeah, "Don't buy Norton." This is the first time I've had serious trouble with one of their products.)
