I Don't Understand Humans...
Aug. 16th, 2006 05:30 pmAs I turned onto a street in my neighborhood, heading home after work, I had to quickly jam on my brakes. There was a car coming the other way, fast, in the middle of the narrow street. He managed to swerve over at the last moment to avoid hitting my car. I sighed and started forward. And caught sight of motion in my left side mirror. The driver had shoved his entire left arm out the open window and, holding it ramrod straight, was flipping me off.
Now, I didn't blow my horn, I didn't yell at him, I didn't even turn to glare at him. He went past me so fast there wasn't time for any of that. Yet he stopped his car and flipped me off.
The only thing I can figure is he didn't like the fact that I "made" him get back over in his lane.
