Jul. 10th, 2006 12:39 pmOur Interstate system turns fifty this year. President Eisenhower started the tire rolling in 1956. The Interstate system is one reason the US has the best highway system in the world. Let's hope we can keep it that way, since the politicians have been seriously underfunding maintenance for decades.
