Inheritance
Aug. 19th, 2008 10:30 amIt's interesting the things which turn out to be hereditary. I have a tendency to buy several holsters for a particular handgun. When I inherited a couple of my paternal grandfather's revolvers, I also received several holsters for each.
Neither of his sons - my father and his younger brother, through whom I got the guns - were much into guns, and neither had many holsters they hadn't themselves inherited from my grandfather. He died when I was just a kid, so this wasn't learned from him. I have to think it's at least partially genetic. :-)
