Was at a gun shop Saturday, and overheard a young man who was dissatisfied with the weight of a gun. He asked to see one of the all-plastic ones. And didn't seem to believe the shop owner when told there was no such thing.

Aside from that, I don't see how a light slugthrower would be good anyway. You'd have less momentum in the firearm itself so I'd think you'd end up fighting a lot more initial recoil effects.
