My guess is private space industry/manned flight will really come into its own over the next couple decades..even hobbyists have put objects into space(not orbit..not yet)-using off-the-shelf model rocket components,a small group-even a high school-could place a small electronics package across the 62- mile-up legal definition of space..Scott
