Coordination?

stickmakerDidn't sleep well last night, so after lunch I got in my recliner and pulled the comforter up to my chin for a nap. About half an hour along, the phone rang. Telemarketer. I headed back to the recliner, but before i could get back into it the phone rang again. Another telemarketer.
I managed to get back into the chair after that one, but about five minutes later the phone rang *again*. Another telemarketer.
I finally got settled into my recliner, but only dozed for a bit. After another half an hour I gave up, got up and resumed my activities.
Do telemarketers share some kind of algorithm (nothing to do with a former Vice-President's dancing abilities) which causes them to call certain categories of "customer" at about the same time?
Or are they watching me? (Yeah, I'm going with coincidence.)
