That Darn Cat

I'm a bit upset at Motley (my 15 year old cat). I couldn't find her last night after battening the hatches. I'd seen her on the enclosed back porch earlier, and chased her out then. Thinking she might have gone back out there, in the hours between closing the house and bedtime I twice unlatched the door, opened it and called to her, as well as taking a brief look. No Motley.

This morning, as soon as I opened that door, she came trotting out.

No idea where she was hiding, or why. At least she didn't make a mess.
