Craigslist is a per-city website that has free classifieds for many things. It's one way to give away stuff. Seattle's is http://seattle.craigslist.org - I kind of doubted you'd have one, but you never know.
Freecycle is also per-city or per-area, is typically mailing-list based, and you can give away / receive free things from it, too. Annnnnnd... Google says you have one! It's linked to here, and it's hosted on Yahoo! Groups here. It's not very large (330 people) but it costs zero and the results are historically very good for giving away things. Try it.
Finally, Little Nickel is a local publication consisting entirely of ads. They take classified ads for a very small charge or free (I forget) and has historically been considered a good way to sell something if you just want it gone. I'm sure you have a local version. However, I'd try Frankfort Freecycle first.
