Not Serving the Public

It just occurred to me that I need stamps, and it's Martin Luther King Day. I hate that you can no longer go in when the Post Office is closed and buy stamps from the machines.

The really aggravating part is that they spent roughly twenty years getting the machines to work right (due to reasons I'm not entirely familiar with they wouldn't just buy machines from vending machine manufacturers but had to have their own, special ones) finally got them reliable then took them out a few years later! Now you have to wait 'til regular business hours just to get stamps!

Weird. We still have stamp vending machines. Also, you can buy stamps at the grocery store.
