Snowpocalypse Plow
Jan. 8th, 2011 01:30 pmOkay. Snow problem. That is, there's no problem with shoveling the snow, but there's a thin layer of ice tightly bonded to the concrete.
Where the sun hits that's melting, but the steepest part of the drive is in deep shade and will remain so until about Noon tomorrow.
Considering the narrow gap for the (currently low on the horizon due to Winter) sun to shine down, and the fact that we had considerable cloud from around 11 to 12:30, I'm not sure that area would have melted anyway.
I have two tracks shoveled. If those melt, I'll seriously consider heading to Lexington. That, however, doesn't seem likely.
