Horning In

 
Saturday and Sunday for me are - as for many people - sleep-in days. Except that today a little after 6 AM the horn on a car the next street over got stuck. For about half an hour. 

When I was in my late teens I had a car which did that. A fault developed in the horn button, and after it got below a certain temperature the horn would come on. The only way to stop it was to take a terminal off the battery until the temperature rose with the Sun. 

Since this time I couldn't tell from inside exactly which horn was blowing - except that the sound was coming from the same direction as my cars - I got up and went outside. Fortunately, I wasn't responsible. Back in bed I could still hear it, but managed to get back to sleep after the horn eventually stopped.
