Innumerancy

I just saw an Apple add which bragged about their recent financial accomplishment:

APPLE REACHED A $1,000,000,000 (ONE TRILLION DOLLAR) VALUATION. 

Anyone else notice something odd about the number? Isn't that a billion, instead of a trillion?

Keep a Safe Distance For Now

This whole day has been filled with bizarre, unlikely and very annoying occurrences.

Just now, I am having a world class klutz attack. I've stubbed the same toe twice in under five minutes. I bumped the refrigerator, and while straightening it somehow knocked the spray bottle of window cleaner off the top. When the bottle hit the floor it broke the top off and window cleaner went all over the vinyl. I don't have any empty bottles to put the glass cleaner in so I had to wrap the neck in tape. Oog...

 

 

First Documented Rabies in My County

Yow. Five bats were found dead of rabies in and around a local elementary school.
