I Just Flew In and, Boy, Are My Wings Tired...

Well, that was interesting. A small, brown bird just flew into my home office, landed on the desk beside me and looked at me expectantly. I slowly got up, got a towel, dropped the towel over the still unmoving bird, carefully wrapped it in the towel and took it outside. I opened the towel on the roof of my old Mustang, it looked at me a moment, then turned and flew away.

It's like it knew I would take it outside and release it.

I thought I heard something in the kitchen earlier, but decided it was the neighbor's grandkid playing in her driveway.

Wonder if it's a repeat customer...
