Not All That Cold Yet But...

A) There are no cat tracks in the snow around my house. Not even in places sheltered from the wind.
B) The wind is blowing hard, and there are much harder gusts.
The word "blizzard" originally meant "a big fight." During a huge Winter storm in the late Nineteenth Century one front page story referred to it as a "Blizzard of a Storm" which was paralyzing much of the US.
