Where's the Kaboom?
Aug. 10th, 2012 04:36 pmor the first time in my experience, a squib load lodged a bullet in the barrel. This was commercial Winchester ammo, too. Several of the rounds in that box sounded weak (after removing the obstruction I went ahead and shot all fifty cartridges, while I had the problem in mind). The squib barely popped, and what seemed like a full load of powder spilled out.
Fortunately, the other guy shooting at the range had a cleaning rod with him. Also fortunately, only a mild push was required to remove the bullet.
