From England comes the story of a very unusual close encounter. A motorist traveling through an isolated area witnessed what he thought was a aircraft crashing in a field. When he approached, however, he realized that the vehicle was not from Earth. Just then, a bizarre creature emerged from the burning wreckage.

It was quite large. It had flipper feet, huge wings on its back, what looked like a flower sprouting from the top of its head, and one eye. It was obviously injured, and also on fire.

As the motorist stared, astounded, the alien turned and looked at him. Then the bleeding, blinking, flipping, flapping, flaming, blooming thing was blown to bits as the craft exploded.
