My Morning (So Far)

Bright and sunny, but oddly cool.

There are workers with two concrete saws - one hand held, the other self-propelled - at the intersection of Cline (where I life) and Lilly. They appear to be making a giant cross-hatch.

Need to get allergy shot after lunch. Hope I can get back home, since the other end of the street is one-way the other way.

Hay!

The hay shortage in Central Kentucky is so bad that expanses of ornamental grass normally kept cut short are being allowed to grow tall, then cut and bailed.

Driving by the boat dock on Benson Creek I saw bales of hay in what before was a decorative lawn. The grass on the other side of the road - perhaps owned by the same people - is also being allowed to grow tall.
