Argh. Still having troubles with the charge to my AmEx from Archon hotel stay.

Despite me calling AmEx and telling them the charge was valid, they credited my account on the next statement. Now the hotel has to put it through again.

Okay, this is the episode where the street racer loses his head.

First, they call a receiver a transmitter, though this is later corrected.

What is not corrected is a mistake I have joked about but didn't think anyone would actually make. Another street racer steals jet fuel for his car, but it's too powerful and his engine runs out of control and catches fire.

Uh, folks... jet fuel is a narrow cut of kerosene with some additives which do things like reduce the vapor pressure. It's actually _less_ suitable than regular kerosene for gasoline engines. Put that in your gasoline tank, and as soon as it hits the cylinders the engine just... stops.
