Online Privacy
May. 8th, 2006 08:45 amJust heard about a bill going through the US Congress which proponents claim addresses the privacy of Internet users. By allowing the government to look at anything they want, any time, without a warrant or permission. (Yeah, nothing new, but this is the current folly in this field.)
As usual, our collective legislators are ignoring the concerns of the voters and taking actions which will alienate and outrage the people who are complaining about the problem. Excuse me, but when did government police agencies earn the vote?
