I went to the doctor this morning because I'm still having a diarrhea, despite feeling well. I mentioned to the nurse practitioner that I'd had milk with breakfast. She warned me that milk and other dairy products can aggravate diarrhea. I hadn't know this, and was drinking a lot of milk.

Horrible pun spoiler!
Down some.

Turns out I'm my own worst enema...

Is there some sort of bug going around causing diarrhea? I've had a bit myself and chalked it up to rich holiday party food.

Yeah. It's called (seriously) the Roto virus. It lasts a day or two in most kids and two to five days in most adults.

And, yes, the nurse practitioner and I were making Roto Rooter jokes after she told me this.

Roto rooter,that's the name...

I missed one day of work over that-essentially did nothing in the way of medication and it went away on its own in a couple days...Scott
