Headdesking mightily, here. I think I just ruined a load of clothes.

Washed the bed stuff, no problem. Put that in the dryer on Delicate, set the washer for the whites, loaded it, added the detergent and bleach, hit start... and realized I'd loaded the permanent press.

Quickly aborted, then started a rinse cycle. Will do another when that finishes. Won't know 'til that's done how much I can salvage. Fortunately, most of that load is old clothes.

You're a better man than I; If it doesn't survive machine wash warm, tumble dry medium, it doesn't survive me..

I got lucky. After they were finally washed and dried, the clothes were fine. My head may have been fuzzy, but my reflexes were still good.

No telling how faded things would have been if they had washed in hot water with bleach. The rinse was cold.
