I bought an electric weed trimmer last year. At first, all was well. However, late in the year I noticed that one of the two batteries it came with would not be at full charge, and I needed both to do a complete trim. Thing was, the "bad" battery didn't seem to stay the same from charge to charge.

I finally noticed that it wasn't either of the batteries. That if I charged one, I needed to unplug the charger from the outlet, wait a bit, plug it back in, *then* plug in the second battery. That seems to work.
