Sad Cat News
Just got the results back from the biopsies they took from Motley - my 15 year old queen - last week. She has mast cell cancer, and it's already metastasized.
The vet made a halfhearted suggestion of chemotherapy, but said it wouldn't likely do much.
Currently, she is still active and eating well. We can use antibiotics to keep the open tumors from becoming infected. When she stops eating, I'll take her in to be put down. That will be weeks or months ahead, hopefully. Meanwhile, I'll do everything I can to make her comfortable and happy.
