Italian Confusion

The Italian government is stating that showing David with a weapon is offensive.

Excuse me? David was one of the great warriors of the Bible. I doubt there were many times in his life he wasn't either wearing a weapon or had one close at hand.

Even before the warrior kind he would have had a slingshot and a big stick to defend his sheep. I am sure he was strong and capable and scrappy!
