LittonWare
Anyone else a fan of this stuff?
For those not familiar, it is cookware made from a light brown, high-temperature polymer. It's lighter than glass or metal, and can go directly from freezer to oven or microwave (though it can't be used in direct contact with a heating element).
I have a small set, mostly of the square, lidded dishes, nearly all of it bought new when it was still being made. I love the stuff and use it fairly frequently, but it does have one drawback. It's fairly brittle.
Now, my favorite covered dish - just the right size for my brown rice, chopped bamboo shoot and diced meat dishes - has a small crack in one corner. It's not leaking yet, but that's only a matter of time.
This stuff hasn't been made in years, but is available used several places. I've even seen "unused" units for sale. One item was listed as "refurbished," with no explanation of what that meant.
So, any other users here? Anyone with further info, about the history, the material, where to get good buys?

I suspect that your best bet might be searching Ebay.
