Firefox Problems

Why in the name of sanity would a tab loading slowly prevent Firefox from switching to another tab? I keep running into this. I'll select a URL in one tab, try to switch to another - already loaded - while it loads, but Firefox won't budge until at least part of the first tab loads. Those are independent operations!

It gets worse, Try selecting a tab in the bookmarks toolbar while something is loading. Most of the time you can't get it to drop down the menu.

Given that 90% of the reason I *use* tabs is so that while I wait for a page to load in tab A I can be reading what's in tab B, this is totally unacceptable.

My guess is that the programmers have insanely fast connections and didn't notice any appreciable lag.

There seems to be a lot of that sort of problem in 3.5. Grrr.

I'm "glad" to see I'm not the only one. Where can we report this atrocity?
