Does anyone else think the ending of _Space Cowboys_ (a good movie, by the way) is a tribute to Heinlein's _Requiem_?

You know? Now I'm annoyed with myself for not realizing that at the time I first saw the movie. Hm. I think I have to go watch it again someday.
