From Dr. John Brantley. Unfortunately, he says that what's in the article is all the information he has. It's a purely theoretical material, at least for the foreseeable future.

That is unfortunate. I was poking around the wikipedia articles on benzene, graphite, and graphenes last night, trying to find more information, and to imagine what the molecular structure of such a material would look like. I'm imagining benzine rings interlocked like chain mail, but I'm not sure I've got the right image in my head.
