Dilution of Christianity

As a Christian I am very upset at the reversals of progress I am seeing in the world today. I have long been opposed to the commercialization and politicization of Christmas, and glad stores and governments were distancing themselves from it. Now they're coming back. Again they are "Christmas trees" and "Christmas parades" instead of "holiday etc."

Why have the businesses and politicians gone back to this? It makes no sense! All the people they were offending - Christian and other - are still out here, and will presumably again raise a fuss. Do they think we'll just get tired and go away?!

Um, they're doing it because of a concerted boycott pressure campaign by the Religious Right.
