We had a bit of excitement, here. I had just woken from and nap and grabbed a small candy bar when I heard a heavy truck outside. Looked out to see an ambulance go by. Went outside and found a fire department ladder truck was stopped in the street in front of my house, with another ambulance and a police van behind it. The police officer walked down the street out of sight, where the first ambulance had gone. I (very carefully) walked out to the far side of the street but couldn't see anything. After a few minutes the second ambulance went around the ladder truck. Then the police officer returned, backed his van out of the way to let the ladder truck back out and they left. (I assume the ambulances are either still there or could get through the hard turn at the end of the street.)

No sirens, but lots of lights

And diesel fumes.
