Tough Loafing

 
Earlier in the week I tried a new recipe for whole wheat bread. The breadmaker struggled and I added extra water, but the loaf still came out half the size it should have. I wonder if I mismeasured the flour. Oh, well.
 
I threw it out for the birds, but they still haven't touched it.
