Great.
When I went to check in for ConGlomeration a few weeks ago the hotel had no reservation for me. They claimed my confirmation number was not only not valid, but not the correct format! Fortunately, they had a room.
Now, MarCon is coming up. The hotel fills quickly so I made my reservation early. I marked that fact - along with the confirmation number - in a spreadsheet I use to keep track of my conventions. However, when I checked my e-mail I saw there was no confirming message from the hotel. Worried about that, I tried to check my reservation with Hyatt online. So far I can't even find a way to enter the confirmation number. They just keep leading me back to the page with the CHECK RESERVATION link.
Okay, I finally just got out completely and went back to my bookmarked link. Found a place to enter the reservation number and last name. No match. They've lost it, too. Looks like I'm staying home. I missed last year because I was sick. Maybe next year.
This is ridiculous. Two cons in a row, the hotels lost my reservations.
At least I have confirming e-mails from the hotel I'm staying at for WorldCon.
