AARRGGHH!!
I just had one of the most horrible experiences of my whole life. My head is throbbing and an old rib injury is hurting from yelling at UPS.
I've shipped by UPS before with no serious problems. This time I knew there was trouble when they wouldn't even let me log into my account. After going around and around with their "I forgot my password" page (I didn't forget, THEY did) I finally gave up and created a new account. With the same ID and password.
Then came the problems with setting up the defaults. Over and over I'd be taken to a page where I could select stuff, but there was no way to save or advance to the next page. The help wouldn't even have that page (I searched by the title on the page) listed. Eventually I learned that I could go to the top of the page and select the next step from a pulldown menue.
Who does that?!
I finally got to where I could arrange the shipment. Only to have to enter the same information over and over, then get to the end and find they had it wrong! (At one point they were solemnly promising to pick up from me Wednesday and deliver to me the Tuesday before!)
I think - after nearly two hours - that I have a pickup scheduled for Wednesday. If not, I'll rip this up and try FedEx.
