Head Hurt

Woke about two hours early Sunday morning with a headache. Still have it, even after prescription medication. This is one of those headaches which just hands on most of the day, fading and returning and generally making me so miserable, I can't do anything. Ow...

Have you talked to your doctor about these headaches? If not you should. You should also mention that you've been waking up five or so times a night if you're waking up with headaches.

Actually, this is most likely due to staying up late and eating too much junkfood last night.

That's right; I've got a chocolate hangover. :-)

Seriously, I only get this after some Saturday night gaming sessions. When I'm staying up late and eating a lot of junk food. The real problem is that on the rare occasions when I get headaches, most pain killers won't touch 'em and they just hang on and on.

Actually you're probably not far off the mark. You're probably dehydrated and sleep deprived. Particularly if you were drinking caffeinated soda as well. You need to drink lots of water and take a nap. If you're still waking up five or so times a night it's a good bet you're operating on about two hours of sleep.
