I have often wondered why Marvel (and a few others following their lead) consistently and uniformly refer to regeneration as "healing factor." I have finally decided that either some editor didn't know what "regeneration" meant, or felt that too many readers wouldn't.
It's not just that they use an alternate phrase, it's that they _never_ use "regeneration" these days, not even when explaining what "healing factor" is. As if there were some rule against the use of the word.
How about a little variety, folks?
