I just saw a commercial for a Turok game, in which the character is portrayed as a two-fisted WHITE Rambo-type, a submachine gun in each hand.
The original character was a pre-Columbian native American
He and a friend were trapped in a valley full of primitive beasts, including dinosaurs. Their only weapons were bows, and the fact that they knew how to make a very effective poison to put on the arrowheads. He was an intelligent, thoughtful person who avoided trouble when he could, and was only trying to go home.
