Why There Will Never be a Unified Europe
An Englishman and a Frenchman were both arguing with a stubborn Italian customs agent. Eventually they gave up and went away unsatisfied. As they parted, the Frenchman mentally labeled the Englishman a coward because he didn't loudly and vigorously defend his rights, the Englishman mentally labeled the Frenchman a spoiled little boy for not maintaining a manful silence, and the Italian mentally labeled them both idiots for not offering him a bribe.
